October is one of my favorite months. I just love this time of year!
In the Philippines, there are already Christmas decorations up and Christmas music on the radio! Filipinos loves Christmas! Just one more thing our family loves about the Philippines!
We are praying for all those affected by the recent hurricane in Florida. We know how scary that is to endure. And we know how difficult life can be after. At HHCR, we were still repairing buildings in July, 6 months after a major typhoon hit our campus. Even today, there are stumps of broken trees, and tree trunks pushed to the side on our campus. Florida, we see you and we are praying!

The children at HHCR are amazing people! They are here because those who should have loved and protected them did not or could not. Now, HHCR has taken on the responsibility of raising them. And we love what we do! But any parent of teenagers can tell you feeding and educating teens is not easy or cheap! At HHCR, we do our best to keep our costs down. Each meal is only a $1.50. Education is about $3 a day. But then there are family visits, court cases, medical needs, clothes, shoes, counseling… These are daily needs. You can help! $5 or $50, no gift is too small. Every donation goes towards helping raise the amazing children at HHCR!

HHCR is so honored and humbled to be a part of the Project Rescue Network! Project Rescue is a worldwide ministry, dedicated to Rescuing and Restoring women and children caught in the injustice of human trafficking. Project Rescue started in India with the help of Assemblies of God World Missionaries. Today, Project Rescue is working with ministries like HHCR in many countries in Europe, Africa, and Asia.
