The last 3 months have been a joy, and busy! Can you believe it is almost October?! July feels like just the other day, but so does February! Ha! Thank you for believing in our family and believing in the kids of HHCR!

HHCR needs monthly donors! There are some that have had to drop off due to the pandemic or other church-related concerns. We certainly understand and believe that God works out all things for the good for those who love Him!

Monthly support helps us plan and set a reliable budget for the future. Monthly support pays the electric bill, and keeps food in refrigerator. It also makes sure someone is preparing the meals, and someone is teaching the kids and caring for them every day!

Cultural Celebration!
Every August, the Philippines celebrates national language month or “Buwan ng Wika”. The students of HHCR enjoy dressing up in traditional Filipino outfits and participating in native dances. Filipinos love music and dancing! They are very talented and most children start dancing, singing, or playing an instrument at an early age. For the kids of HHCR, these cultural traditions help them to feel grounded in who they are as Filipinos. And they are fun too!
God Provides!
God, through His people, provided this new generator! After several consultations and learning all we can, we found a generator that will supply the current needs of HHCR, and be strong enough to support the future needs, also! That is the God we serve! He can meet needs now, and lay the framework for strong future!
You know what else!? Just to brag on the Lord a bit. During this pandemic the kids of HHCR have never missed a meal. If they needed medical attention, they received it. If they needed help with school work, or just a hug, it has been provided. When we could not go out to visit family and friends, God provided consistent internet so the students could video chat with safe family members! God is here, in the big and little things! Our income has gone down, but because we cannot go out, we are not spending as much on fuel and vehicle maintenance. It is not an exact balance, but God is making a way, even when we do not realize it! He provides!
