Typhoon for Christmas!? A category 5 “super” typhoon made landfall in Cebu Philippines only days before Christmas! We are ok! But this was not the Christmas we expected!

We truly hope that your Christmas was filled with love and laughter! Our Christmas much different than we ever expected. To be honest after almost 2 years of COVID restrictions here in the Philippines we were looking forward to a simple and fun Christmas season. God provided and He protected us! Thank you Lord, but this Christmas was anything but simple!

So Much Destruction!
It is difficult to believe that it has been 2 weeks since the typhoon. There is still so much destruction. HHCR has focused on helping our community. We have been able to pass out almost 900 family food packets. And we are chopping up all our fallen trees into lumber for community homes.
Soon we will need to start the repair efforts on our campus. We are still calculating the damages. Every roof has damage. A single piece of metal roofing is about $25. HHCR will need several hundreds. You can help us rebuild by donating above!
