June 2021 - Update!

Hello Family and Friends!

God is so good! God is so faithful! Thank you for being a part of this journey. God continues to use His people to bless the kids of HHCR! Kelli and I are humbled and honored to get a front row seat.

#1 Need of HHCR…

HHCR needs monthly donors! There are some that have had to drop off due to the pandemic or other church-related concerns. We certainly understand and believe that God works out all things for the good for those who love Him!

Would you consider what you, your family, your group, your church, or your organization can do to provide monthly support for the kids of HHCR?

Monthly support helps us plan and set a reliable budget for the future. Monthly support pays the electric bill, and keeps food in refrigerator. It also makes sure someone is preparing the meals, and someone is teaching the kids and caring for them every day!

Thank you to the churches and families who are already supporting! Please consider how you can join them!

Builders International - Deep Well!

In March (see last newsletter), HHCR started a partnership with Builders International! There are several projects in line and first is already in the ground! Due to the pandemic and travel restrictions in the Philippines, Builders International is not allowed to travel to HHCR to physically help. So they are sending their support instead! HHCR has a water crisis almost every year. Builders International has raised the funds to drill a deep well! It is our hope the drillers will hit water before 200 ft. Deep well drilling is a little different in the Philippines (as is a lot of things). These men in the photo are working hard and have already reached 60 ft!

God Supplies!

In the past 4 weeks we have discovered a child at HHCR has scoliosis and needs a back brace. Our filtered water tank was destroyed and had to be replaced. An HHCR child had appendicitis. The generator we rely on weekly (due to frequent blackouts) caught fire!

But through all of that, God met every need! A pastor called and said, “How can we help with the water tank?” Another pastor called and was able to provide for the back brace. Several local donors gave to help with the appendicitis surgery. And in less than a week, the Lord, through YOU, supplied the funds for a new generator! What a mighty God we serve!
