SEVEN HHCR Students Graduate!
These four incredible young people have worked hard to graduate!
HHCA - Happy Horizons Christian Academy is the school on the campus of HHCR. We are proud of these students for working so hard and setting a wonderful example for younger students. This year, 3 students have completed their elementary course work and 1 graduated from junior high school. Additionally, 3 of our Happy House students (not pictured) completed senior high in the public school system! Philippine’s educational structure is a little different than how things are structured in the USA. These students have worked hard to get this far! Their educational journey if far from over. This is a milestone in their young lives that they will be able to stand on as they keep climbing! Way to go students! Thank you for supporting the educational journey of the kids of HHCR.

This family is amazing! Lara is a nurse by profession and specifically a NICU nurse. Lara has received specialized training to help less developed nations deliver babies more safely. Lara brought that training to the Philippines! Lara, along with our HHCR nurse, visited many of our Convoy Of Hope feeding centers. These remote areas all had tragic stories of infants born under difficult conditions that didn’t make it through. These locations were beyond grateful for this training and additional supplies! With better training and equipment, the hope is that more infant lives can be saved! Thank you, Nurse Lara!
As for her children, they found creative ways to share the love of Jesus with the kids of HHCR! As one of their creative projects, they made bracelets for each child using local words of encouragement to remind the girls they are beautiful and loved!

We love Project Rescue!
Because of your donations, HHCR is able to send kids to college. In previous years, the course options were limited due to the high cost of courses like Nursing and Social Work. But now with the help of Project Rescue, we are able to send 7 students to college! These students are so excited for this opportunity.
Our problem now is where to house all the these students? We have limited space in our Happy House. We feel confident the Lord will provide!

The children at HHCR are amazing people! They are here because those who should have loved and protected them did not or could not. Now, HHCR has taken on the responsibility of raising them. And we love what we do! But any parent of teenagers can tell you that feeding and educating teens is not easy or cheap! At HHCR, we do our best to keep our costs down. Each meal is only a $1.50. Education is about $3 a day. But then there are family visits, court cases, medical needs, clothes, shoes, counseling… These are daily needs. You can help! $5 or $50, no gift is too small. Every donation goes towards helping raise the amazing children at HHCR! Thank you.
