Christmas blast!
This beautiful young lady and her sisters celebrated their second Christmas at HHCR!
Christmas was a wonderful time to share God’s extravagant love for the kids of Happy Horizons!
Thank YOU for giving to the kids of HHCR to make their Christmas day so special.
The Philippines celebrates Christmas longer than any other country. From September until January, Christmas decorations are up and music is playing! Christmas here is a not centered around gifts; it’s more about being together. Of course, the kids DO love gifts! We also have a lot of parties! There were 11 different Christmas parties at HHCR in December, all complete with snacks, games, singing, and food! The kids loved it!
Since the children aren’t able to be with their families during the holiday season, these parties are a great way to make positive memories. Thank you for choosing to give so that the kids can experience God’s gracious and extravagant love!

Missions and Me!
We love Estela!
Ms Estela feels a calling to missions! Estela is in her 70s, but feels the Lord still has things for her to day. Living in New York she has roots in the Philippines. She felt God call her to serve. Estela learned about HHCR and asked if she could come and share God’s love with the kids.
Ms Estela came to HHCR in December and served for 2 weeks. She helped all over campus - the school, the kitchen, the clinic, and more!
The staff of HHCR also fell in love with Estela. Pictured here (left to right) with Teacher Joy, Teacher Ryca, Ms Estela, and Pastora Jeralyn.

Happy Church was able to celebrate Christmas with 50 families!
Happy Church had a dream to share Christmas with our community but do to limited budget that was not possible. Believing Church said we want to help. Together Happy Church was able to celebrate the joy of Christmas with 50 families! Every child received a gift, every family received groceries! Even senior citizens were invited to receive participate and receive a blessing.
One father talked to our Happy Church pastor, Pastora Jeralyn. The father said “Thank you so much for this blessing! This year has been difficult for me at work. I was not sure if I could get my kids Christmas this year. Because of Happy Church my kids received gifts and are so happy. Thank you for that!”
That is what Christmas is all about, sharing God’s joy with others! We hope your Christmas was filled with joy and peace!

The children at HHCR are amazing people! They are here because those who should have loved and protected them did not or could not. Now, HHCR has taken on the responsibility of raising them. And we love what we do! But any parent of teenagers can tell you that feeding and educating teens is not easy or cheap! At HHCR, we do our best to keep our costs down. Each meal is only a $1.50. Education is about $3 a day. But then there are family visits, court cases, medical needs, clothes, shoes, counseling… These are daily needs. You can help! $5 or $50, no gift is too small. Every donation goes towards helping raise the amazing children at HHCR! Thank you.
